Responsive Portfolio Pro is an awesome image, video, link gallery plugin to display your portfolio albums on your WordPress blog.

1. Plugin Installation

---

 

A) Login into your Weblizar account here.

B) After login download the plugin from your account. Click on download link same as in below screenshot.

 

C) After download the plugin, login to your WordPress site admin dashboard. Go to Plugins menu and click on Add New link. Check screenshot.

 

D) Now provide the plugin zip package same as below screen. And click on Install Now button.

 

E) Then you will be redirect to plugin installation process page, after installing process click on Activate Plugin link to activate the plugin in admin dashboard.

 

F) Above step completed the successful Plugin Installation. And you found plugin has been installed and activated on Plugins page.  Check screenshot

 

 

 

2. Create New Portfolio Album Gallery

Important Note: While adding images into Portfolio Albums use the plugin Multiple Image Uploader. Doing this layout will never mess because plugin image uploader crop same size image thumbnails. And make sure minimum image size for galleries are 300x300px.

Portfolio Album Gallery can contains images, videos, links in a single album. And Album Gallery required an Album Cover and Album View property in “Yes” in setting.

First check get the idea about how Portfolio Albums Gallery looks & works – Album Demo

Now follow step sequence in the below “Album Screenshot – 1” and “Album Screenshot – 2” to create a portfolio album gallery.

 

 

 

1 – Click on Add New Portfolio link into Responsive Portfolio Pro menu. Then Add New Portfolio page will be appear.

2 – Provide a “Title” for portfolio, like “Album Gallery With Circle Style 1”.

3 – Click on “Add New Media” to upload images into gallery.

3.1 – Write a Label for image/video/link, it’s optional if you don’t want to display label on images hover then leave it blank.

3.2 – Select Type setting allow to select type of portfolio element like – Image / Video / Link option in list box.

• Image Type: If you want to display image then select Image option.
• Video Type: if you want to display video then select Video option from list and put the your Youtube / Vimeo Video URL into “Video Link” input box.
• Link Type: if you want to redirect visitor to any internal / external link  then select Link option from list and put the your Internal / External Link URL into “External Link” input box.

4 – This option allow to set Album Cover for current album portfolio. Click on “Set Featured Image” to set any album cover from media library.

5 – Now copy the shortcode. We will use it later to publish this Portfolio Album Gallery in any Page / Post.

6 – Now time to publish your gallery. Before going to publish portfolio gallery please follow setp-7. After that click on Publish button to publish your Portfolio Album Gallery.

7 – For making a Portfolio Album Gallery you need to set a setting like Album View = Yes. To set Album View setting refer Album Screenshot -2.

Finally our Portfolio Album Gallery create successfully and next step will explain how to publish created gallery on a Page / Post.

 

 

 

3. Publish Portfolio Album Gallery In Page / Post

A) Go to Page menu

B) Click on Add New link under Page menu.

C) A new page will open, assign a page Title like as “Portfolio Albums” in above screenshot.

D-1) Through “Responsive Portfolio Pro Shortcode” button you can add a shortcode in page content.

OR

D-2) Paste the copied shortcode into page content editor which we copied in previous step of creating portfolio album gallery.

E) This is an optional step and depends on your theme features. If your theme allow multiple templates then you can assign any template which best suites to your Portfolio Album gallery.

F) Finally in last step click on Publish button to publish your Portfolio Album Gallery.

 

 

 

 4. Create New Portfolio Grid Gallery

For making Grid gallery you need to apply below settings in any gallery. Check screenshot.

 

 

 

5. Create New Portfolio Carousel Gallery

To making Carousel gallery you need to apply below settings in any gallery. Check screenshot.

 

 

 

6. Create New Portfolio Video Gallery

First have a look of Demo Vimeo Portfolio Video Gallery.

Plugins allow to create 2 types of video portfolio gallery

A) YouTube Video Gallery

B) Vimeo Video Gallery

For making a Video gallery you need two things –

(I) a thumbnail image for video video URL and

(II) a Video URL

And follow the below screenshot for more instruction:

A – This is a Video Thumbnail image, upload a thumbnail image using media uploader and you can choose any image from your media library which is related with your video

B – Select Type = Video in list box.

C – This is Label / Title of your video. It’s optional if you want to display then fill out the label box otherwise you keep it blank if you don’t wish to display video label.

D – This is a Video URL field, in that field you can provide your video URL which you want to display in light box at front-end preview. If you don’t know how to get a YouTube / Vimeo video URL then use this LINK for help.

 

 

 

 

7. Create New Portfolio Link Gallery

Plugins allow to create internal & external link gallery

For making a Link gallery you need two things –

(I) A Thumbnail Image

(II) A Link URL

And follow the below screenshot for more instruction:

A – Thumbnail image related to your link.

B – Select Type = Link from list box.

C – The Label / Title for your link. keep blank if you don’t want to display.

D – That is a Link URL, where you want to redirect user after click on image.
